~ After the successful and inspiring first edition of Little Bird Artist Residency in the summer of 2020, the team of Little Bird Place Gallery continued the initiative and gave the opportunity to 6 young Bulgarian contemporary artists to work this spring in the Little Bird International Artist Residency, located in an authentic old house in the village of Leshten.
~ Participants are: SILVIA POPOVA, ATANAS LEVAKOV, ALBENA PETKOVA, SVETLI EVGENIEV, MIHAELA MIHAYLOVA, STRAHIL PENEV
~ They explored the topic “Contemporary art dedicated to ecology” through various approaches.
~ Curator and consultant during the residency and the final exhibition is the art historian Teodora Konstantinova (in partnership with the platform for contemporary art and culture Art and Culture Today (www.ARTandCulture.Today).
The Jury members for the selection of artists were:
