Boyan Montero is an artist whose practice is rooted in drawing and extends into multidisciplinary forms. They completed an MA in Fine Arts at the Sandberg Institute in Amsterdam, following BA degrees at the Gerrit Rietveld Academie in Amsterdam and the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. Their work has been presented at institutions and platforms across Bulgaria and Europe. In 2025, Montero received Werkbijdrage Jong Talent and a Mondriaan Fonds project grant.
