The gallery
Little Bird Place is the one and only gallery in Bulgaria with a specific thematic focus on modern and contemporary art dedicated to nature, biological diversity and ecology.
The gallery has embraced the challenge to step out of the conventional art space and offer different ways of exhibiting and interpreting the artworks through the participation of curators and artist, with the use of relevant audio-visual equipment, and by organising various events in a cosy ambience that extols nature’s aesthetics right at the heart of the city.

Radoslav Mehandzhiyski and Teodora Konstantinova are well known with their regular lectures on contemporary art and culture, organized by Art and Culture Today – an organization they founded in 2016. They are art historians and curators, current PhD students at New Bulgarian University. Starting from 2018 another independent project of theirs is IMAGO International Artist Residency.
