Ildzhan Ismetov (b. 2002, Targovishte) is a student at the National Academy of Arts in Sofia. Working with textiles, photography, and collage, his art explores desire, taboo, and identity. His residency works draw on the architecture and textures of Leshten, using experimental materials to reflect themes of fragmentation and transformation.
