Vikenti Komitski (b.1983, Sofia, lives and works in Berlin) is working in a wide variety of media, including objects, videos and installations. His works deal with the outcome of modernity and the related affects on the environment. His approach combines a semi nostalgic reading to the 20th century Avant-garde movements with Sci-Fi and dystopian narratives and aesthetics.

Some of his solo shows, are: “Sea level”, Fabienne Levy, Lausanne (2020),“Nevermind The Gap” in gallery Joey Ramone, Rotterdam (2017); and“Update” in Krinzinger gallery, Vienna (2015).

Artist in Residence at KulturKontakt, Vienna (2019), MQ21, Vienna, (2014) and ISCP, New York (2012), Among others.

His next solo show ‘What Comes Around Goes Around’ will take place at E-Werk, Freiburg in September 2021.
